Boy arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following Stoke-on-Trent stabbing

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident in Stoke-on-Trent.

The incident took place in Penkhull yesterday (Sunday, December1).

Police were called by colleagues at the ambulance service to reports that a 16-year-old boy had been stabbed at a property on Keelings Drive just before 9am.

The victim was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital by ambulance with multiple stab wounds.

The 17-year-old, from Stoke-on-Trent, remains in custody.
