Investigation launched after robbery at shop in Tean

A police investigation is underway after a robbery at a store in the Staffordshire Moorlands.

Officers were called to a report of a burglary at Co-op on the High Street in Tean just after 2.30am this morning (16 September).

It is believed four people who were armed forced entry to the store.

Cigarettes were taken.

The offenders made off from the scene.

Anyone with information, or anyone that may have seen anything suspicious, is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 37 of 16 September.
