Man charged after cannabis plants believed to be worth £2.6m seized

Cannabis plants with a street value believed to be in the region of £2.6m has been seized in Stoke-on-Trent.

The discovery was made at an address in Market Street in Longton yesterday (10 June).

A 38-year-old man, of no fixed address, has been charged with producing a controlled drug of class B – cannabis.

The Commander of the Stoke South Local Policing Team, Karen Stevenson, has described it as an 'outstanding' result
