Man cut free from van following collision in Stoke-on-Trent

A man had to be cut free from his van following a two vehicle collision on the A500 in Stoke-on-Trent this morning.

Two crews from Longton and one from Hanley attended the scene of the crash on the A500 D-Road near to the A50 this morning (Tuesday October 8).

The incident happened just before 10am, and involved a van and one other vehicle.

West Midlands Ambulance Service dispatched two ambulances and one paramedic and they treated three people at the scene.

A man and a woman were discharged on location with minor injuries, while a second man was taken to the Royal Stoke Hospital for further treatment.
