Man stabbed in Tunstall

Detectives have launched an investigation after a man was stabbed in Stoke-on-Trent.

Emergency services were called to a footpath off Furlong Road in Tunstall around 4:30pm yesterday afternoon (13 September) - an area know as the greenway.

A man in his 30s was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

Witnesses or anyone with any information is asked to call Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 486 of 13 September. Alternatively, for guaranteed anonymity, call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
