Motorcyclist suffers multiple serious injuries after collision in Abbey Hulton

A man has been taken to hospital in a serious condition following a collision involving a motorbike and a car in Stoke-on-Trent last night.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the junction of Leek Road and Abbots Road in Abbey Hulton at 9.51pm and sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer and two BASICS doctors to the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find two patients from the incident.

“The motorcyclist, a man, had suffered multiple serious injuries in the incident. He received specialist trauma care at the scene before being transported to the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

“The car driver, a man, was treated for injuries not believed to be serious and taken to the same hospital as a precaution.”
