A prisoner in custody in Stoke-on-Trent has now tested negative for coronavirus.

Three officers were kept at home after the woman, a non-UK national, fell ill at the Northern Area Custody Facility at Etruria on Wednesday (19 February).

An update released by Staffordshire Police today (21 February) has confirmed that tests show there is no risk of Covid-19 (coronavirus).

As a result, two police constables and a PCSO will now be returning to duty.
