Severe house fire in north Staffordshire

Around 20 firefighters have attended a severe house fire in Kidsgrove.

Crews from Sandyford, Newcastle, Kidsgrove, Alsager and the Aerial Ladder Platform from Longton were in attendance.

Fire Control were notified of this incident at 19:49 last night (Thursday).

All persons in the property were safe and accounted for and quick decisive firefighting action stopped the blaze spreading to other households.
