Clucas sees red early on but Stoke battle for hard earned point

Sam Clucas was sent off early on but Stoke City battled to earn a hard fought point after a 0-0 draw at Queens Park Rangers.

The midfielder saw red for a stamp on Rangers star Josh Scowen.

Clucas now faces a three match ban and will miss forthcoming games against Derby, Reading and Sheffield Wednesday.

Manager Nathan Jones made two changes going into the game with Charlie Adam and James McClean coming in for Peter Etebo and Bojan.

The home side were also reduced to ten men in the last three minutes when Grant Hall was sent off.

He was shown red for a second bookable offence after bringing down Tom Ince just outside the area.

Stoke are now 16th in the table.

The Potters are back in action on Wednesday night when they make the short trip down the A50 to take on Derby County.
