Delap on defeat to West Brom

Stoke City remain bottom of the Championship table after losing 2-0 to leaders West Brom.

The Potters made five changes for the game, Jack Butland, Tommy Smith, Stephen Ward, Tyrese Campbell and Sam Vokes came in for Adam Federici, Bruno Martins-Indi, Tom Ince, Lee Gregory and Scott Hogan.

Albion took the lead inside the opening ten minutes through Matt Phillips.

They doubled on 69 minutes with a penalty from Hal Robson-Kanu.

Liam Lindsay went off injured.

Joint temporary boss Rory Delap revealed after the game that strikers Scott Hogan and Lee Gregory also missed the game through injury.

The result leaves the Potters bottom of the table.

They are back in action on Saturday when they make the trip to relegation rivals Barnsley.
