Season to end for Port Vale and Crewe following League Two clubs vote

League Two clubs have voted to end their season early - but Crewe are still set to be promoted.

Games were suspended in March in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Now, following a conference call between clubs earlier, a unanimous decision was made to bring the season to an early conclusion.

It will still need approval from the Football League and the FA.

Sides also voted in favour of three teams being promoted automatically to League One, which would include Crewe.

Play-offs would decide on one more side to go up, and no one would be relegated.
