Stoke boss fuming as side let slip two-goal lead

Stoke City threw away a two-goal lead as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Championship strugglers Rotherham.

Sam Vokes put the hosts in front when he headed home a pinpoint cross from Ashley Williams on 27 minutes.

Two minutes later Sam Clucas had doubled their lead when he fired into the roof of the net.

Jack Butland then made a stunning save before Michael Smith pulled one back on 58 minutes.

Butland again came to his side's rescue before substitute Matt Crooks fired home the equaliser from close range, despite Stoke's appeals for offside.

Stoke are now 16th in the Championship table.

The Potters are back in action on Good Friday when they make the trip to play-off chasing Middlesbrough who are managed by former Stoke boss Tony Pulis.
