Stoke boss on home defeat to the Baggies

Stoke City were beaten 1-0 at home by promotion chasing West Bromwich Albion.

Dwight Gayle scored the only goal of the game on 25 minutes.

Manager Nathan Jones had made two changes for the game with Tom Ince and Ryan Woods coming in for Bojan and Ashley Williams.

There were also home debuts for recent recruits for Danny Batth and Sam Vokes.

The result leaves Stoke in 17th place in the table, 12 points off the play-off places.

The Potters are back in action on Wednesday night when they make the trip to Wigan.
