Stoke City returned to winning ways thanks to a 2-0 victory over Cardiff.
Michael O'Neill stuck with the same eleven that threw away a two-goal lead at QPR the week before.
The Potters edged in front on 25 minutes, a corner swung in from Jordan Thompson, Nick Powell challenged Callum Paterson and the ball hit the Cardiff striker and ended up in the back of the net.
Stoke made the game safe with a second on 72 minutes.
Powell was again involved, this time slipping the ball through to Tyrese Campbell who initial shot was saved. But as the ball rebounded to him, it was prodded forward and Joe Allen diverted the ball into the back of the net.
Stoke are now 19th in the table, three points above the relegation zone.
The Potters are back in action on Wednesday night when they make the trip to play-off chasing Blackburn Rovers.
