Vale boss celebrates milestone

Port Vale boss John Askey says the club is heading in the right direction.

It is a year since he took over the reigns following the departure of Neil Aspin.

One of the manager's first jobs was to keep the club in the Football League, which he accomplished.

Since then, this season the club has gone from strength-to-strength.

They are currently tenth in the table, just three points off the play-off places.
