Former Stoke Potters rider David Wallinger will take part in next month's Pride of the Potteries meeting.
He has had two stints with the Potters, in 2017 he jointly won the rider of the year and last season when he linked up with the club after starting the season with Buxton.
Over the close season Wallinger has linked up with ex-Potters team manager Malcolm Vasey at Mildenhall.
Potters promoter Dave Tattum commented “David (Wallinger) was popular here at Loomer Road and quickly accepted the invitation to return and race in the opening meeting of the season.
"I’m pleased with the way the field is shaping up and once all the line-up has been announced we will do the draw for the meeting live on Facebook something we’ve never done before and I hope supporters will like the way we are trying different things.”
The Potters promoter also confirmed admission details for the new season which starts next month. He said: “I’m pleased to confirm that admission prices for 2019 will remain the same as last season. We’ve looked at the figure long and hard and feel that it is right to hold admission prices for this year. We will though be increasing car parking charges."
